Candice Humeny

Candice is a founding member of GED-REC and provides so much of the vision and initiative for our programs. She is an outgoing, generous and enthusiastic leader and brings a wealth of knowledge and commitment to strong values to the organization.

Candice grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan. After gaining valuable experience volunteering with the Katimavik program, she found the Northern Sun Farm Co-op, where she is now a long time member. She lives there with her partner, Ray, and their daughter, Gloria, growing an incredibly abundant and biodiverse garden.
